Welcome to Vision London

This is the new site for Vision London where you will find a range of exciting features.
The site now hosts artwork by students from schools close to the Olympics re-development area (Newham, Tower Hamlets, Hackney and Lewisham) and provides a platofrm for young people to express their feelings about his exciting event.

What Makes London Special?

We’ve really enjoyed looking at all the fabulous work schools across London have created and more and more of it will be going up on this website over the next few weeks. What would you like to tell the world about the work you have created? Why did you make it?

If London wins the bid to host the Olympic Games in 2012, a full size ocean clipper, the Friend-Ship will sail around the world crewed by artists, philosophers, environmentalists and students representing Great Britain. If you were the captain of the Friend-Ship and your job was to recruit and lead the crew that represented Great Britain’s cultural and sporting achievements who and what would you take with you? Your crew might include athletes, artists, musicians, politicians, philosophers, celebrities and scientists…
